Package: fontforge Severity: normal Hi.
In some spare time, I investigated this bug and I could come up with a patch to avoid this segfault (and, finally, create the small caps for use with Utopia). Is this patch wanted? It is just an if to protect a null pointer from being dereferenced---and this is related to updating a progress bar. Side note: while I was looking at the code, I found a zillion problems when I run fontforge under valgrind. Are other patches wanted?
