Of course none of this matters at all. Kernel-package is now "fixed", linux-2.6 will be fixed sometime in the far future and wrongly because they speak about repeated patterns not about "reasonable" perl code. But it all does not matter because no-one seems to care much about Debian stable (currently lenny) ... oh well, will patch myself.
