To fix this problem:

- *Close* knewtwork-manager (on systray)
- Get a valid uuid doing this:
$ cat /proc/sys/kernel/random/uuid

- Copy UUID generated by uuidgen above.
- Go to ~/.kde/share/config/knetworkmanagerrc
- Replace "Value_uuid=<string> _UUID_ </string>

You will need replace the field _UUID_ above to a correct UUID (get from /proc/sys/kernel/random/uuid)
