Package: buildd.debian.org
Dear Colleagues, the latest libunwind package can be build on ia64 i386 amd64 ppc64 regarding debian/control, but it seems libunwind is only allowed to build on ia64. Now, in Ubuntu and later or now also in debian we need it to build google-perftools on i386 and amd64. Please adjust the p-a-s to let libunwind build on all the mentioned tasks. libunwind will ftbfs on debian later on when you upgrade to a newer glibc, but this is fixed already in fedora (http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewvc/devel/libunwind/libunwind-disable-setjmp.patch?view=log) and as well in ubuntu (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libunwind/+bug/522106) Thx for your help, \sh PS: Please poke Ubuntu personal to update p-a-s when you commited the fix.
