Package: multipath-tools Version: 0.4.2.4-2 Severity: important Greetings,
multipathd needs to be run prior to 'mountall.sh', which handles the second-pass filesystem mounting. This means that it can't depend on /var being available. Unfortunately, it appears that it's expecting to be able to use /var/cache/multipathd as a ramdisk and when it's unable to (because /var/cache doesn't exist), it dies. This is a rather serious problem as it's needed for booting (I believe...). An interesting alternative would be to consider just running multipath during boot and then running multipathd later on. This appears to be what the initrd setup w/ multipath is doing actually. Thanks, Stephen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
