Package: zlib1g Version: 1:1.2.3-1 Severity: normal In trying to compile zlib in a debug way, I defined and exported DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS="nostrip,noopt", but for some reason the zlib rules file ignored it. I can't see why that would be happening, but it happens all the same.
