FWIW, v0.8 is out. Updating the package is a simple matter of
uscan/uupdate + building.

Furthermore, I successfully built libggz and pulseaudio against this new
library without any problems.
Thus, for now I tag this bug with "patch" even though none is included
in this mail, as updating is really simple.
Please provide info on whether you plan to update this package.
