Package: syscp Version: 1.4.2.1-2 Severity: important
In order for customers to create databases syscp requires the database root user and password. These need to be saved when the postinst script executes. I have no experience with dbconfig-common which is used to generate database info in /etc/syscp/config-db.php but i beleive that the root_user and root_password variables should be added. Can this be done with dbconfig-common? In order to pass these variables to the application correctly /usr/share/syscp/lib/userdata.inc.php will also need updating. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (300, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages syscp depends on: ii apache2 2.2.14-5 Apache HTTP Server metapackage ii apache2-mpm-prefork [apa 2.2.14-5 Apache HTTP Server - traditional n ii dbconfig-common 1.8.43 common framework for packaging dat ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.28 Debian configuration management sy ii libphp-phpmailer 5.1-1 full featured email transfer class ii mysql-server 5.1.41-3 MySQL database server (metapackage ii mysql-server-5.1 [mysql- 5.1.41-3 MySQL database server binaries ii php-fpdf 2:1.53.dfsg-6.1 PHP class to generate PDF files ii php5-cli 5.2.12.dfsg.1-2 command-line interpreter for the p ii php5-mysql 5.2.12.dfsg.1-2 MySQL module for php5 ii webalizer 2.01.10-32.6 web server log analysis program Versions of packages syscp recommends: ii courier-imap 4.6.0-2.1 Courier mail server - IMAP server ii courier-pop 0.63.0-2.1 Courier mail server - POP3 server ii libsasl2-2 2.1.23.dfsg1-5 Cyrus SASL - authentication abstra ii libsasl2-modules 2.1.23.dfsg1-5 Cyrus SASL - pluggable authenticat ii libsasl2-modules-sql 2.1.23.dfsg1-5 Cyrus SASL - pluggable authenticat ii mysql-client 5.1.41-3 MySQL database client (metapackage ii mysql-client-5.1 [mysql- 5.1.41-3 MySQL database client binaries ii php5-gd 5.2.12.dfsg.1-2 GD module for php5 ii php5-imap 5.2.12.dfsg.1-2 IMAP module for php5 ii php5-suhosin 0.9.29-1 advanced protection module for php ii postfix 2.6.5-3 High-performance mail transport ag ii postfix-mysql 2.6.5-3 MySQL map support for Postfix ii proftpd-basic 1.3.2c-1 Versatile, virtual-hosting FTP dae ii proftpd-mod-mysql 1.3.2c-1 Versatile, virtual-hosting FTP dae Versions of packages syscp suggests: pn bind9 <none> (no description available) pn courier-authlib-mysql <none> (no description available) pn maildrop <none> (no description available) -- debconf information: syscp/dbconfig-upgrade: true * syscp/customer-dir: /var/lib/syscp/customers syscp/db/app-user: syscp syscp/passwords-do-not-match: syscp/internal/reconfiguring: false syscp/dbconfig-reinstall: false syscp/remote/host: syscp/install-error: abort syscp/upgrade-error: abort syscp/dbconfig-remove: syscp/remote/port: syscp/remote/newhost: syscp/remove-error: abort syscp/missing-db-package-error: abort syscp/database-type: mysql * syscp/admin-username: admin syscp/mysql/admin-user: root syscp/mysql/method: unix socket syscp/upgrade-backup: true syscp/internal/skip-preseed: false syscp/db/dbname: syscp syscp/purge: false * syscp/reconfigure-webserver: apache2 * syscp/dbconfig-install: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
