Hi, thank's for the information. I tried this patch and it resolved the Zombie-issue, for example when a port definition was incorrect while starting the smsd. However, with this patch calling of eventhandler, checkhandler and other external processes does not work anymore. Another issue: writelogfile() should not be called from the signal handlers.
