Package: bzr Version: 2.1.0~rc2-1 Severity: normal As of 2.1 the bzr launchpad plugin requires the python-launchpadlib package to function. This dependency is missing at the moment.
Since launchpadlib and its dependencies are quite large, I think we shouldn't make them a hard dependency of the core bzr package. The two alternatives I see are: * add Recommends: python-launchpadlib for the bzr package * add a separate bzr-launchpad binary package that contains the launchpad plugin and that is Recommends: by the bzr package Preferences, thoughts ? -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers oldstable APT policy: (500, 'oldstable'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages bzr depends on: ii libc6 2.10.2-6 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii python 2.5.4-9 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-celementtree 1.0.5-10 Light-weight toolkit for XML proce ii python-central 0.6.14+nmu2 register and build utility for Pyt ii python-configobj 4.7.0-1 simple but powerful config file re ii python-elementtree 1.2.6-14 Light-weight toolkit for XML proce ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.4.dfsg-3 compression library - runtime Versions of packages bzr recommends: pn bzr-launchpad <none> (no description available) ii bzrtools 2.0.1-1 Collection of tools for bzr ii ca-certificates 20090814 Common CA certificates ii python-paramiko 1.7.6-2 Make ssh v2 connections with Pytho Versions of packages bzr suggests: ii bzr-doc 2.1.0~rc2-1 easy to use distributed version co ii bzr-gtk 0.97.0+bzr674-3 provides graphical interfaces to B ii bzr-svn 1.0.2-2 Bazaar plugin providing Subversion ii python-kerberos 1.1+svn4895-1+b1 A GSSAPI interface module for Pyth ii python-pycurl 7.19.0-3+b1 Python bindings to libcurl ii xdg-utils 1.0.2-6.1 desktop integration utilities from -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
