Package: fancontrol
Version: 1:3.1.2-1
Severity: normal

After upgrading fancontrol from 1:3.1.1-6 to 1:3.1.2-1, the init.d
script silently fails to start fancontrol:

# /etc/init.d/fancontrol start
Starting fan speed regulator: fancontrol.
# pgrep fancontrol
#

Running fancontrol by hand results in the following output (to stdout):

# fancontrol
Loading configuration from /etc/fancontrol ...

Common settings:
  INTERVAL=10

Settings for hwmon1/device/pwm2:
  Depends on hwmon0/device/temp2_input
  Controls hwmon1/device/fan2_input
  MINTEMP=55
  MAXTEMP=75
  MINSTART=150
  MINSTOP=0
  MINPWM=0
  MAXPWM=255

Configuration is too old, please run pwmconfig again
#

Please change fancontrol to print error messages to stderr, instead.
