Package: git-cola
Version: 1.4.1.2-1
Severity: minor

Hi Iulian,

git-cola depends on git-core (>= 1.5), which looks like it is intended
to exclude e.g. git from etch. Unfortunately, git from etch has
version number 1:1.4.4.4-4+etch3, which compares greater than 1.5
because of the epoch.

I don’t think Debian supports upgrades straight from etch to squeeze
anyway, so it should be safe to drop the version from the dependency.
Alternatively, if you want to keep the explicit versioned dependency
for documentation and robustness, it should be (>= 1:1.5).

Please let me know if any further information would be helpful.

Regards,
Jonathan
