Bug#528115: 2.3.1-dfsg1 introduced bug?

Probably related to this non-free material removal patch, because when I 
click on "Add Items" in any album in my gallery2 2.3.1-dfsg install, the 
site actually crashes out with an error about missing 
/usr/share/gallery2/modules/uploadapplet/* files.

This renders gallery2 essentially unusable.
