Have been using s2disk to suspend to disk for a couple of years on my
computer. However, after the recent upgrade to
kernel-package_12.032_all.deb (from 12.031) the resume has stopped
working. It goes through the motions of loading the memory image from
the RAM; once the load is done, the monitor switches off (actually it
switches into an unsupported video mode) and a few seconds later the
computer hangs. Thinking it might be a video problem, I tried s2disk
and resume from a text console with identical results.

This is on an Intel DG43NB motherboard. uswsusp was not upgraded before
the problem appeared.

[For some reason reportbug didn't send the text of the bug in the
original mail]
