Package: octave3.2 Version: 3.2.3-2 Severity: normal octave3.2-headers needs libhdf5-serial-dev which in turn needs libhdf5-serial-1.8.4. However, octave3.2 depends on libhdf5-serial-1.8.3. The two versions of libhdf5 conflict.
This results in octave3.2-headers being uninstallable. The reason I am filing against octave3.2 is that octave3.2 needs to be fixed to use the newer libhdf5 1.8.4. If you believe the headers package jumped the gun, then please move this bug report over to octave3.2-headers.
