Hi Mike,

The order of the postinsts could have an effect, but the priority of ifupdown in
Debian is Important, whereas the priority of ifupdown-scripts-zg2 is Optional.
A default installation of Debian will already have all packages of priority
Standard or higher installed [0], so I'm curious to know how you are installing
ifupdown-scripts-zg2 on Debian before ifupdown has had a chance to be
configured. Is this part of a task or specialized installation?

Can you provide more information about the problem installing this package on
Debian? Any issue on Ubuntu is a separate issue.

Thank you,
Tony
