I think we should use Git on Alioth. As for a mailing list, I don't
mind.

Wouldn't bother with gforge, Alioth makes sense. Go aheard and make it.

I've given my sponsor 1.2.17 for him to review and upload. You can
download it from http://www.djw.org.uk/deb/

I've made a lot of changes so it would be good for it to be reviewed.
