As see it, the situation is as follows: a) Two RC bugs since september last year; both without a reaction from the maintainer b) one NMU in octiber 2008 without maintainer ACK c) contains at leat embeded code copies of: * gdb * itcl * tcl * tk * readline and maybe from texinfo, libgui and libiberty (haven't checked, if the last ones are already packed) d) Most of these embeded code copies are outdated e) Some of these embeded code copies FTBFS f) While it is possible to tell the package to use some system libraries (at least for tcl, tk and itcl it seems the case), it's not sure if it's possible for all g) New upstream is availabel since Jul 2009 h) Only 36 popcon votes This package is clearly in an unmaintained and in an not releasable state. As no one seems to be interested in using it, I think it's a good idea to get rid of it.
