Let me explain a situation around JTeX a bit.

I'm not a maintainer of JTeX but filed a bug against it
some while ago
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=476639
so I got an email from Marco Rodrigues in which Bug#553905
was mentioned.

Then I contacted a maintainer, TSUCHIYA-san, and prepared
fixed package and uploaded it at 08 Jan, but it was too late.
The package was already removed so a fixed package was NEW
and rejected by ftpmaster (16 Jan.) because "copyright" was not
sufficient.

I wonder who can write a sufficient copyright file of TeX
so I'm not sure we can upload a fixed JTeX or not but we will
try to do so anyway.

This is what I know or what I experienced about JTeX.

BTW, pTeX was installed without any problem with TeXLive2009.
Thanks for your work.

Regards, 2010-1-20(Wed)
