So yeah, sorry, I assumed the absence of mention in the docs meant no backward-compatibility. On a related note, would it be possible to add the "build/fixconf.sed" to the package and mention it somewhere like README.Debian? Perhaps a NEWS.Debian mention, before the deprecated get taken out for good.
