Fair enough... It seems that I misinterpreted "From DOS or Windows" as if it meant "when you start from a system with DOS or Windows installed"... I now realize that that is not the whole meaning, since it also means "and you want to repartition under DOS or Windows"! Maybe saying it explicitly may be useful, since a reader who's generally knowledgeable about free software and GNU/Linux, but not specifically about Debian, could be used to parted and ntfsresize, but he/she may not know that debian-installer provides exactly the same functionality as such tools (being based on them)... -- :-( This Universe is buggy!
