Package: aptitude Version: 0.4.11.11-1+b2 Severity: normal This bug exists for 3 and a half years right now. Of course there are many much important things to do in aptitude, but perhaps this one is much simplier to fix. Would anybody do it?
I think that this one is really irritating for people who don't like to start aptitude in superuser mode. If user decides what to install and presses 'g', after passing root password he or she expects aptitude to install that software, not wait for user to press 'g' again. I think that most of users minimize aptitude's window after passing superuser password, and when they rise it again, expects software to be installed. -- Package-specific info: aptitude 0.4.11.11 compiled at Aug 3 2009 17:14:11 Compiler: g++ 4.3.3 Compiled against: apt version 4.8.0 NCurses version 5.7 libsigc++ version: 2.0.18 Ept support enabled.
