This wasn't a notice that saving a file was impossible, merely that it was overly inconvenient. First, people may sometimes want to save an incoming file to a specific place. I had some audio that I wanted to put directly into an already-existing folder. I didn't have Downloads open. Yes, it is *possible* to (1) dig for your desktop and open a file manager. (2) Navigate it to the downloads folder. (2) Open another file manager and navigate *it* to the target folder. (3) Find the file that you just got from bluetooth. This may not be a trivial task if the downloads folder is crowded. (4) Drag it to the target folder. ...but it might be better to have a "Save As" option on the bluetooth applet. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
