Package: epiphany-extensions Severity: grave Version: 2.28.1-2 The latest combination of epiphany and epiphany-extensions (2.29.5-1 and 2.28.1-2, respectively), causes epiphany to crash on startup. Since epiphany has no way command-line option for starting without extensions enabled (at least none documented) the only way to use epiphany is to uninstall epiphany-extensions, or to manually edit the GConf settings for epiphany (which isn't something end users are expected to do).
Disabling all extensions by using the GConf editor, then re-enabling them one at a time, I managed to identify the tab-states extension as the guilty party. Rationale for severity: epiphany becomes impossible to start and thus totally unusable. The console output from a crashing epiphany follows below my signature.
