Package: obconf Version: 2.0.3-3 Severity: normal I'm using a fresh install of debian squeeze and obconf is unable to change any settings - at least the one for lxde. I didn't try it with other desktop environments.
Started from the menu of lxde, obconf pops up an error message when I'm trying to change any setting, saying: "An error occured while saving the config file '/openbox/lxde-rc.xml'". The named path is totally wrong and if obconf really tries to save anything in /openbox/lxde-rc.xml I can guess why nothing works. But there is another problem: I started obconf via commandline with the --config-file option leading to the right position of lxde-rc.xml - at least I guess, it's ~/.config/openbox/lxde-rc.xml. obconf then doesn't complaint anymore, but unfortunately I can get no change of the behaviour or style of lxde.
