Indeed, after manually adding the symlink, it works [damn, this bug
report took me nearly 2 hours to write. :( ].

Isn't there a way to handle this directly in devicekit-disks?

BTW, why isn't the WD SmartWare CD-ROM partition detected and mounted
automatically?
