That is not really a bug of geeqie. The string you found did not come from the german translation. It is a leftover from earlier geeqie versions. That string is saved in geeqierc.xml in ~/.config/geeqie/. Removing and re adding that field resets the correct translation to "Titel". However, we might consider to make that string changeable in future versions. But that would happens after version 1.0 as it implies a interface change.
