udev.conf:

udev_log="err"
tmpfs_size="10M"

As for the trace, it's difficult to provide as udev doesn't regularly crash but
on occasions. I'll try
to catch a trace whenever this will happen again reproducibly. Often I only
notice misbehaviour of programs
and start looking for the source, revealing that this instant the udev craѕhed
again.

One of these misbehaviours is i.e. that logging in using kdm the user/pw prompt
receives a double or even
triple char input. Or even X crashing because, no input available.

Cheers,

Nils
