Sorry, I cannot and will not check 2000 texlive packages for incompatible upgrade versions ... esp since most of the times it is not even announced there. If you think that I *should* do that ... well, help is welcome in maintaining these packages. I am fine with updating frenchb to a newer version, but that has to wait until TL 2009 is in testing, the transition phase is in full go and uploading now a new package would be a bad idea.
