OK, I made other tests with a fresh-installed sid: 1) Iceweasel by default always shows the tab bar and now Ctrl-w closes both the tab and Iceweasel as well. 2) if I configured to hide the tab bar when only one tab is open (browser.tabs.autoHide=true), as I reported previously Ctrl-w closes Iceweasel. It seems that something has changed since my last post on this bug (I do not use Iceweasel anymore, since I co-maintain Conkeror...) and now the behavior is consistent, finally. Mike, if you can not find the relevant change/version to correclty mark this bug, I would say to simply use the one I just tested, thus 3.5.6-1. Thx, bye, Gismo / Luca
