Package: nfs-kernel-server
Version: 1:1.2.1-1.1
Severity: normal

I use self-compiled kernels, and build in support for NFS instead of
using external modules. This latest version of NFS works for me, but
refuses to start unless I use the change suggested by Elimar's patch
above.

    - if ! [ -d /sys/module/nfsd ]; then
    + if ! [ -d /proc/fs/nfsd ]; then

I haven't tried it, but it seems logical that this init script could
test for the nonexistence of both directories -- exiting if neither one
exists. That would allow Debian NFS packages to work with both
modularized and built-in NFS support.
