Yes, it is pretty annoying that you need to rebuild the package because it was build with network-manager 0.8.x in mind...
Anyway the solution is to rebuild the package and just change the build flags in ./blueman-1.21/debian/rules add "--enable-hal" to the following line, like this: DEB_CONFIGURE_EXTRA_FLAGS := --disable-runtime-deps-check --enable-hal NMIntegration plugin will then be build and available.
