Package: less
Version: 418-1
Severity: normal

Hi Anibal,

I've inquired the problem at debian.user mlist before,
http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.debian.user/371200
and no one seems to have the answer. So I think it is time to report
it as a bug now. Please pass it on to less developers.

Synopsis:

environment var LESS used to work with negative -j value but no more

Details:

I use to have

 LESS=ij-6

in my environment, ie, negative -j value. but now I get

 Invalid line number (press RETURN)

It works before and 'less -j -6" still works, so I think it is a bug
that should be fixed. It has stopped working for maybe over a year
now, I just get around to report it.

Thanks
