Hello Jan, thanks for your report, but it would have been more helpful if you had used reportbug, that includes all the (first level) depends of the package you're reporting bug to. For example, in this case, we don't know the GTK+ stack you're using (packages & versions) so I'm just guessing.

I've seen some other segfault from packages using GTK+ on squeeze, maybe you can try to upgrade to te latest version of GTK+ package.
