btw: I think you still should strongly consider to add these patches,
perhaps with some big exclamation marks that this is
experimental/unofficial and may change when someday another patchset
is accepted by upstream,... but:
- dovecot is really one of the best imap/pop servers out there (if not
the best)
- maildrop is THE MDA... of course dovecot comes with deliver/sieve
but this is no comparable to maildrop
- using maildrop with virtual addresses and with dovecot is really ...
unhandy ... if there is no authzplugin available.
mr.maX, would you consider to rewrite your patches so the upstream
accepts them?
