Package: mlocate Followup-For: Bug #543352 'mlocate' is a replacement for 'locate' but doesn't provide it. This forces the user to install 'locate' if another package, such as 'dlocate' - which is how I stumbled uppon it - depends on it. This is makes it necessary to install 'locate' as well as 'mlocate' which makes no sense to me.
