Nope,
The problem is caused by the new default setting of net.ipv6.bindv6only = 1
on squeeze and sid.
Please, could you set that setting to 0 and see if jabberd14 works as expected?
/sbin/sysctl -w net.ipv6.bindv6only=0 should work for you.
Anyway, I had fixed that already on the git repository and I hope to very soon
do a new upload.
