Please file bugs on multisync and ximian-connector to make them drop their build-dependencies on this package, then. For both, this seems to me like a spurious build-dependency anyway, as it doesn't result in a normal dependency. Also, due to a FTBFS bug in evolution, it hasn't been rebuilt on any architecture yet, and removal of this package would break it even more (ok, it is already quite broken in the current state...).
