Hmmm, that's apparently mostly because your changes are made in experimental and my proposal was made against unstable. All out tracking tools are not good in tracking down changes that only happen there while unstable packages are not modified (for instance, the l10n status pages do not care about experimental). I think we'd better wait for new packages to enter unstable before doing anything more about debconf templates translations for that pkg.
