Package: meritous Version: 1.2+dfsg-1 Severity: minor When you win the game, it tells you what then happens to the Orcus Dome and to the PSI flows. I think there are two separate messages. Those fade out too soon; there is not enough time to thoughtfully read them and fully enjoy the plot. This is especially annoying because it is not easy to get them back after they have slipped by: you'd have to beat the final boss again.
In the chat with the final boss, each message stays up until the player hits Space, so it is surprising that the victory messages disappear on their own. They may have been originally synchronized to the music, but the music has been removed because of bug 465532, so I don't think there's now any need to fade the messages out this soon. I haven't tried whether the wuss mode has the same problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (900, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fi_FI.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages meritous depends on: ii libc6 2.10.2-2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libsdl-image1.2 1.2.10-1 image loading library for Simple D ii libsdl-mixer1.2 1.2.8-6+b1 mixer library for Simple DirectMed ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.13-5 Simple DirectMedia Layer ii meritous-data 1.2+dfsg-1 action-adventure dungeon crawl gam ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.4.dfsg-3 compression library - runtime meritous recommends no packages. meritous suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
