Package: rtorrent Version: 0.8.5-2 Severity: normal xmlrpc-c versions under 1.06 doesn't support long (64 bit) integers (see bug report #466053). Various rTorrent's RPC functions need them. rTorrent keeps working but some RPC functions report wrong (negative) numbers (i.e. torrent dimensions above 2GB).
As suggested here [1] rTorrent should be compiled with a recent version of xmlrpc-c (>= 1.11) and since the experimental version of xmlrpc-c package in the reporitory is 1.16 I guess it should work just fine.
