Package: vsftpd Version: 2.2.0-4 Severity: important
I am using vsftpd with libpam-pgsql and libnss-pgsql2, both works correctly (I can login). But vsftpd gives me "Could not connect to database" after asking for the password accepted by PAM (PAM_pgsql[4591]: (vsftpd) user bugs authenticated. in /var/log/auth.log). Then I tried the same configuration with the lenny's vsftpd version and it works. So it seems that it comes from vsftpd itself. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-2-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages vsftpd depends on: ii adduser 3.111 add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.28 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.10.2-2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcap2 1:2.17-2 support for getting/setting POSIX. ii libpam-modules 1.1.0-4 Pluggable Authentication Modules f ii libpam0g 1.1.0-4 Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8k-7 SSL shared libraries ii libwrap0 7.6.q-18 Wietse Venema's TCP wrappers libra ii netbase 4.37 Basic TCP/IP networking system Versions of packages vsftpd recommends: ii logrotate 3.7.8-4 Log rotation utility vsftpd suggests no packages. -- debconf information: vsftpd/username: ftp vsftpd/directory: /srv/ftp -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
