I appreciate your polite request, but I've decided against uploading this to backports.org (presumably the backports collection you're asking about). I'm not a DD, so I rely on others to make uploads for me, and this process is the same for backports.org. This would also add an additional "distribution" to maintain for some time (squeeze+1y or more). Granted, mod_ldap_userdir releases don't happen often, but I have a lot of these small projects that I take care of and find that, in order to keep my sanity, I need to occasionally say 'no.' Again, I empathize.
