Hello, sid now has the euca2ools package, see http://packages.debian.org/de/sid/euca2ools which is a Free reimplementation of what Amazon develops. More on http://www.eucalyptus.com .
The server bits of Eucalyptus are also on their way to Debian Main. This promises a transient extension of local infrastructure with what Amazon offers.
