It looks like it was from 30~pre9-2 to 30~pre9-3, from dpkg.log: 2009-12-21 01:13:55 upgrade wireless-tools 30~pre9-2 30~pre9-3 As for not doing anything about it, if it's not going to affect lenny->squeeze upgrades, then that's perfectly OK. It should, however, be perfectly possible to correct the move using a version check in the preinst/postinst on upgrades, completely safely. (the schroot package has the appropriate shell functions in its preinst and postinst if you want them, though it's not currently using the postinst to move conffiles.) Regards, Roger -- .''`.
