Since i upgraded to 2.6.31 (and 2.6.32) my wireless no longer succeeds in
connecting to my AP.
Symptons are diverse:
* i can connect but get disconnected immediately after which scanning starts
again
* wicd can't start scanning
* wicd can't find networks
Booting back to 2.6.30 'fixes' the issue.
I've messed with rfkill too and that seems to help everynow and then (but
mostly not and is very inconvenient)
rmmod ath5k; rfkill block all; rfkill unblock all; modprobe ath5k; rfkill
unblock all; iwconfig wlan0 up
