A new upstream of Bastille, version 3.0.6, is available. The current
Debian package of Bastille is version 1.2.1.
Background: Version 3.0.2 was released in April 2005 and there have
been several minor releases thereafter.
The latest minor release, 3.0.6 was released around July 8, 2005.
A sufficient amount of time has passed since the first 3.0 release and
the minor releases thereafter makes the current 3.0.6 a strong candidate
to replace the older Bastille 1.2.1.
Thank you for continuing to maintain Bastille. I tagged this with
security because the new version addresses more security hardening
issues than the old version. My apologies if that was not sufficient
reason and for not providing a detailed list of changes between 1.2.1 ->
3.0.6.
Please consider updating this package to the latest upstream release or
creating a new package, bastille3. Thanks again.
