Package: xen-tools Version: 4.1-1 Severity: minor Forwarding from Ubuntu (https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xen-tools/+bug/80233):
Recommends: xen-hypervisor-3.0-i386 | xen-hypervisor-3.0-i386-pae, reiserfsprogs, xfsprogs, rpmstrap This is an _all package, and I was amused to see the first two recommendations pop up on my amd64 Xen host (which of course has xen-hypervisor-3.0-amd64 installed). This package should Recommend a generic xen-hypervisor virtual package which xen-hypervisor-* should Provide. Those last three look like they are only there in the situation where you want to create a SuSE guest on XFS or something. They are more likely to be better implemented as Suggests: entries rather than Recommends:. The arch-specific stuff has been fixed through adding xen-hypervisor-amd64 to the Recommends line, but the other three are still there. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers karmic-updates APT policy: (500, 'karmic-updates'), (500, 'karmic-security'), (500, 'karmic-proposed'), (500, 'karmic-backports'), (500, 'karmic') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.31-17-generic (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
