Package: b43-fwcutter Version: 1:012-1 Severity: important According to http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/b43#fw-b43-lp program should be updated from git to properly support BCM4312 LP-PHY. I have such device and after installing b43-fwcutter and linux-image-2.6.32-trunk-686 system becomes ustable: it freezes after enabling/disabling wireless networks in Network Manager. "Freeze" here means cursor not moving, not responding on "caps lock" press. But, when module was not loaded at boot time (I had broadcom-sta-common, which prevents b43 from loading), after "modprobe b43" everything was ok. I don't have much time for testing right now, maybe after 3-4 days.
