I still have a sound problem, I think it is somewhat related to the one marked as fixed in vice version 1.16-1. I have an IBM thinkpad T21 with the snd_cs46xx sound mode loaded. My x64 hangs. Interestingly, even running $ artsdsp x64 or killing artsd and therefore giving x64 open access to the sound card does not help. It hangs, as it seems, *after* sound initialization: [...] Joystick: Linux Joystick Schnittstellen Initialisierung... Joystick: Warning - Kann Joystick Device /dev/input/js0' nicht öffnen. And then nothing. If I run multiple instances, after a while, one of the instances opened later gets back on track, complains that there is no sound and then runs fine (without sound). If I try to reenable sound, it hangs.
